The Clippers continue to give back to their community! Every year in November the students at Joshua Dixon collect items for The Way Station of Columbiana. The Way Station has a Christmas Giveaway every December that helps many of our local families.
This project is a collaboration between Mrs. Maloney's third graders and Mrs. Moore's first graders. Together, they collected over 850 items! Then, they sorted and tallied everything and brought it to the Way Station. The project combined service-learning, reading, writing and math!
