CMS: All remote students grades 5-8 will have Mrs. McNeal for ELA. This will not change in the event we move to a hybrid or remote model. Mrs. McNeal will remain the teacher for these remote ELA students. In the event we move to hybrid or remote model, the traditional students will have their current teachers for remote instruction. Remote students are to follow directions outlined within the grade level informational packets. Any questions regarding remote learning schedules should be directed to their respective teacher. It is expected that all remote learners begin their education tomorrow (8/25). CMS students who have Algebra will meet in the CMS study hall room rather than traveling to the high school. Algebra students will remain in the study hall room for 1st and 2nd period each day. Reminder: Tomorrow marks the first day of school. Car riders may be dropped off between 8:00 and 8:20. First period begins at 8:27. Have a great day & Go Clips!

A new school supply list for the 2020-2021 academic year has been posted. Remote learners may not need the same supplies at home, but may need some of them. https://www.columbianaschools.org/o/columbiana-middle-school/browse/32357 Students and/or parents are encouraged to reach out to their remote learning teachers for more information regarding supplies. For traditional students, supply lists are posted, but I welcome parents to send a supply/pencil box/bag with their child for just the supplies they need at the time (ie. One glue stick instead of a large quantity etc.). We will not have large quantities of shared supplies this year).
