In anticipation of the impending weather warnings for ice and snow tomorrow, the Columbiana Exempted Village Schools will be closed, Thursday, February 3rd. Each of the district’s buildings has reached their fifth calamity day (closures due to weather related issues). In the event that a school building is closed beyond a fifth calamity day, the staff will implement blizzard bags or on-line instruction for the 6th, 7th, and 8th calamity days. Blizzard bags are posted online by teachers for students to access the lesson. Teachers shall assign deadlines in accordance with state law and students will receive up to two weeks to return blizzard bag assignments.

CMS: Great job 5th and 6th grade choirs. The concerts were wonderful. The 7th grade choral concert is this evening at 7:00 with 8th grade following at 7:45 in the CHS auditorium. The 6th/7th grade band concert is Sunday (12/19) at 5:00 and our CHS (8-12) band concert is Sunday evening at 7:00.
