Our CMS swimmers competed in the Akron Regional Meet this past weekend! The event featured 14 teams and approximately 280 athletes in grades 6–8, competing in two age divisions (11–12 and 13–14). Our six CMS swimmers represented us with determination, sportsmanship, and outstanding performances in a highly competitive field.
Congratulations to the following student-athletes:
Dominic Kramer – 12th place in the 500 Yard Freestyle; 4th and 5th place finishes in team relays
Ezra Peak – 2nd place in the 400 IM; 3rd place in the 200 Backstroke; 5th place in the 100 Yard Backstroke
Ben Kramer – 19th place in the 100 Yard Breaststroke
Grace Garland – 4th place in the 200 Backstroke; 8th place in the 50 Backstroke; 2nd and 3rd place finishes in team relays
Leighton LaLama – 9th place in the 200 Breaststroke; 10th place in the 100 Yard Butterfly; 5th and 7th place finishes in team relays
Elise Campbell – 5th place in the 200 Yard Backstroke; 5th and 7th place finishes in team relays
