Track and Field

The middle school track and field team competed at their first home meet last night against East Palestine, Lisbon, Saint Charles, Holy Family, and Leetonia. Both the girls' and boys' teams won, and many of our athletes set broken records, tied records, and achieved personal bests.

Girls Highlights:

-100 meter dash: Sydney Schorejs 2nd place and Madison Muslovski 1st place

-200 meter dash: Sydney Schorejs 1st place

-400 meter dash: Harper Cuff 3rd place

-800 meter run: Harper Cuff 3rd place and Annabelle Church 2nd place

-1600 meter run: Lyddie Pratt 3rd place, Addi Waller 2nd place, and Mikah Montgomery 1st place

-200 meter hurdles: Ella Buschau 2nd place and Josie Hepler 1st place

-Our 4x100, 4x200, and 4x400 teams all placed first

-High Jump: Riley Fisk 2nd place and tied our school record with a jump of 4 feet 4 inches. 

-Long Jump: Riley Fisk 3rd place, Sylvia Rapp 2nd place, and Haley Fry 1st place

-Discus: Roxy Gribben 1st place

-Shot Put: Roxy Gribben 2nd place and Gracie McGinnis 1st place

Boys Highlights:

-100 meter dash: Carter Green 3rd place, Ajay Urichko 1st place, and tied the school record with a time of 12.44

-200 meter dash: Ajay Urichko 1st place

-400 meter dash: Brayden Ludwig 3rd place, Ajay Urichko 1st place

-800 meter run: Grayson Fast 3rd place and Evan Farinha 2nd place

-1600 meter run: Nolan Clark 3rd place and Landon Snyder 1st place

-110 meter hurdles: David Ross 3rd place

-200 meter hurdles: Caleb Witherstine 2nd place

-Our 4x100 and 4x200 teams placed 1st

-The 4x800 team, consisting of Peyton Boggs, Nolan Clark, Landon Snyder, and Grayson Fast, placed first and broke the school record with a time of 10:28

-High Jump: Jacob Parks 1st place

-Discus: Matthew Garver 2nd place

-Shot Put: Andrew Passmore 3rd place and Matthew Garver 1st place
