Mrs. Sherwood honored with Key Clipper

Mrs. Sherwood utilizes best-practice strategies to engage students in differentiated instruction actively. Further, this teacher ensures that all students know they are accepted, respected, and welcome members of our learning community.

Ashlee Sherwood leads by example, exhibiting professionalism, compassion, respect, and kindness in all situations. A few years ago, Mrs. Sherwood was integral in establishing our amateur radio club. Last year, Ashlee extended her influence, offering her guidance and support in establishing our robotics club. In her first year learning the ropes of robotics, she had taken many of our students to the state competition and, ultimately, the 2023 VEX Robotics World Championship.

Mrs. Sherwood extended her influence, helping four middle school teams reach the state championship. This included two fifth-grade teams who competed in the elementary division at the state competition. This year, one of Mrs. Sherwood’s teams won the State VEX IQ Robotics competition! As a result, many of our students will experience the World Competition again this year.

Mrs. Sherwood’s passion for learning is contagious. She goes above and beyond each day for her students. Her kindness and compassionate leadership style serve as a shining example for the rest of us. She is truly deserving of the Key Clipper Award.

Congratulations, Mrs. Sherwood & Go Clips!
