The Rotary 4-Way Test Speech Contest challenges high school students to develop and deliver a 5–7 minute speech that analyzes a chosen topic through the lens of Rotary International’s Four-Way Test. Created in 1932, the Four-Way Test promotes ethical decision-making, integrity, and responsible leadership. The contest encourages students to think critically, speak persuasively, and apply ethical reasoning to real-world issues.
Participants select a topic they find meaningful, relevant, or timely and evaluate it using the Four-Way Test’s guiding questions: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? Through this process, students demonstrate their understanding of ethical standards while strengthening their public speaking skills.

Juniors and Seniors earning at least a 3.5 GPA have been invited to a National Honor Society Google Classroom. If you wish to be considered for NHS induction, you are welcome and encouraged to begin completing the application found within Google Classroom.

Tonight's 7th Grade Girls and JV Girls basketball games are canceled. Also, homecoming tickets will be on sale through Thursday ($12 per ticket). If you are bringing a date from another school, all forms and IDs need to be turned in no later than Thursday. Stay warm and Go Clippers!

Midterm exams (full-year courses) and final exams (semester courses) will be given this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to end the grading period. Any necessary absences should be verified with a formal excuse (doctor note, court memorandum, etc) unless pre-approved. Truancy will nullify a student's opportunity to complete the exam(s). This Friday morning, each department will compete in a can-structure building contest benefiting the Second Harvest Food Bank. We aim to make a significant impact on the fight against hunger in our local area.
