Distribution is private and respectful — please take what you need. Bags will be outside the doors and not monitored, available until they run out. To our Clipper Community:

It has been brought to our attention that there are lingering concerns regarding the status of the Athletic Facilities renovations and expenditures. At the latest Board of Education meeting, we demonstrated our commitment to the improvement of Athletic Facilities as well as Joshua Dixon, CMS, and CHS buildings. In fact, we have spent $14million in facility upgrades over the past 14 years, including:

-New CMS roof
-CMS flooring
-CHS and CMS gym floor refinishing
-5 new boilers ($500,000)
-School Buses
-Locker Room Tile
-Athletic Scoreboard
-Security Improvements
-Window Replacements
-Firestone Stadium ($300,000)

We have identified over $5million in needed school repairs and upgrades in the 2025-2026 school year and approximately $3million in Athletic Facility improvements. As we presented in our October BOE meeting, identifying expenditures within the district as a whole is a very important first step to establishing a plan and timeline for improvement. The second step is prioritizing those expenditures. We recognize that the prioritization of these expenditures is relative to each family. It is our duty as a district to navigate within the realities of our budget and work on behalf of the district as a whole. As such, we have been working with our incredibly dedicated Board of Education, Administration, and Boosters team to secure naming rights and funding for Baseball and Softball Fields to be completed in the next year to year and half. We are following the same process for improvements that have been in place over the past 15 years. We want to be clear: the projects will be in progress ,and we plan to garner additional financial support to supplement the district's budget before we can present a solid construction timeline to the community. We want to express our gratitude to our families for their trust in this process that takes time to put in motion and will continue to provide updates as projects move forward.

Dear Families and Community Members,
Please join us in sending off our Little Clippers to the EOYFL Super Bowl as they travel to Minerva this Saturday! Bantams will face United at 4:00 PM and JV will rematch against East Canton at 5:30 PM. The team send-off will begin at Firestone Park as buses pull out at 2:00 PM. The Columbiana Police and Fire Departments will proudly lead the teams out of town. If you’d like to show your support, please arrive at the park by 1:45 PM. Congratulations and best of luck to all of our Little Clippers, including our 10U squad heading to Sandusky in a few weeks for the OAC State Championship, and our 6th graders representing Columbiana in the EOYFL All-Star Game!
