Clippers,
We have been informed that some of our families are not receiving notifications through the Clippers app after a recent automatic update to the app. The Clippers app is how the district communicates important information with families. If your Clippers app icon on your smart device is now white (used to be red), you are likely not receiving notification. You should follow the steps listed below to make sure you receive notifications from the district, school buildings, and school departments:
Search Columbiana Clippers in the app store on your smart device. The app is free.
Select “ALLOW” when prompted on initial download to ensure you receive notifications.
Open the app, and navigate to the bottom menu, then tap “SETTINGS”
Ensure your settings are turned on and your organization is selected.
Be sure to select Columbiana School District, as that is where closure and delay notifications will come from. Also, select any buildings you have students attending.
You can choose different school departments and buildings you would like to receive notifications from, Transportation, Athletics, etc.
If your Clippers app icon is still red on your smart device, you will need to update the app manually, then follow the instructions above.
