In anticipation of the impending weather warnings for ice and snow tomorrow, the Columbiana Exempted Village Schools will be closed, Thursday, February 3rd. Each of the district’s buildings has reached their fifth calamity day (closures due to weather related issues). In the event that a school building is closed beyond a fifth calamity day, the staff will implement blizzard bags or on-line instruction for the 6th, 7th, and 8th calamity days. Blizzard bags are posted online by teachers for students to access the lesson. Teachers shall assign deadlines in accordance with state law and students will receive up to two weeks to return blizzard bag assignments.

The Columbiana Exempted and Village School District will be on a two hour delay today, February 9. There will be no a.m. preschool. All starting times will be two hours later. Transportation will be two hours later than their regular pick up time for the 2020 2021 school year.
As a conference, we have decided to show unity in honoring our seniors and essential workers during this unprecedented time in our country. On Friday, April 24th from 8:20-8:40 pm we will turn the lights on at each of the conference school's stadium. This will show our unity and appreciation for all the sacrifices that have been made. To take part in honoring the seniors and essential workers, we ask that everyone drive by our stadium (stay in car, no gathering).
