Dixon Students Get Hand Washing Lesson

I want to take this opportunity to let families know that Joshua Dixon Elementary is taking extra precautions and extending our regular environmental disinfecting practices, including common sense preventative care such as proper hand-washing techniques. Today, the school nurse is visiting each classroom and sharing a hand washing video from the CDC, as well as some illness prevention strategies such as staying home when sick, appropriately covering coughs and sneezes, cleaning frequently touched surfaces, and washing hands often.
